How to remove programs from Start-up
There are various ways to remove programs from Start-up one of them is through system configuration. Using the Selective Start-up option in System Configuration (msconfig), you can enable or disable Start-up programs. You will need to be logged into an administator account, or provide the administrator password to open System Configuration.
1)Open the Start Menu.
2) In the search line, type msconfig and press Enter.
3) If prompted, click on Continue for the UAC prompt, or type in the administrator’s password.
4) Click on the Start-up tab. The screen is below for your reference
To Disable a Start-up Program -
A) Select a listed Start-up program and uncheck it. (See screenshot above)
B) Repeat to disable anymore listed Start-up programs.
To Enable a Start-up Program -
A) Select a listed Start-up program and check it. (See screenshot above)
B) Repeat to enable anymore listed Start-up programs.
To Disable All Listed Start-up Programs -
A) Click on the Disable all button. (See screenshot above)
To Enable All Listed Start-up Programs -
A) Click on the Enable all button. (See screenshot above)
4) Click on Apply and OK. (See screenshot above)
5) Click on the Restart button to apply. (See screenshot above)
